Founded in 1970, the university's is one of the oldest and most comprehensive offices of its kind in the nation. Through a broad range of programs, ODI supports the success of students who enhance the diversity of the university.

For graduate and professional students specifically, ODI offers , including an annual student orientation and networking reception and annual career fair. ODI runs a number of programs and centers, and its is considered one of the finest in the country.
