About us

The Electrical and Computer Engineering (ECE) graduate program offers degrees leading to either a master of science or doctoral degree as well as stand-alone and embedded Semiconductor Certificates. Ranked in the top twenty by U.S. News and World Report, and a Tier 1 research university, the graduate program prepares students for technical leadership roles in industry, academia, and government. The training provides students with a fundamental understanding of engineering sciences so that graduates can develop creative and innovative approaches to the world's important engineering problems.

The coursework for the master’s program is very flexible to fit the needs of the student. The master’s program has two paths: thesis and non-thesis. The two paths produce identical MS degrees.
