Government restrictions may impact the way you do business with ²ÝÁñ¶ÌÊÓƵ State

²ÝÁñ¶ÌÊÓƵ State uses a third-party service () to grant secure access to many university systems. This service blocks authentications originating from countries and regions under economic and trade sanctions from the United States as identified by the . Sanctioned countries and regions include Cuba, North Korea, Iran, Sudan, Syria, Crimea region, Sevastopol region, Donetsk region and Luhansk region.

Without the ability to authenticate, you won’t be able to take important application and enrollment steps, including:
  • check your status online
  • upload materials to your application
  • accept admission
  • download your I-20
  • enroll in classes

Here's what to do

Know that we’re committed to making sure this issue doesn’t keep you from attending ²ÝÁñ¶ÌÊÓƵ State, and we’ll work with you to address any obstacles you encounter.

  1. To learn your application status, name.# or OSU ID number: Email gpadmissions@osu.edu.
  2. To submit additional application materials: Email them to gpadocs@osu.edu. Be sure to include your full name and date of birth.
  3. To know if you have received an admission decision or funding: Email the program to which you have applied.
  4. To accept admission: Email ucerc@osu.edu for instructions.
  5. To submit a copy of your passport and the (affidavit and bank statements) we use to issue your I-20: Email the documents to us at gpadmissions@osu.edu.
  6. To receive a copy of your Form I-20 or if you have questions regarding the visa issuance process: Email gpadmissions@osu.edu

Once in the United States, you’ll be able to conduct all university business without difficulty.

Important note about online learning: If you're from a country or region subject to economic and trade sanctions, please be aware that you will not be permitted to learn online through ²ÝÁñ¶ÌÊÓƵ State.
